Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Nüdge, a product of Technovative Digital Private Limited OPC ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and Android mobile application (together, the "Service").

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account & Profile Data

When you register or are invited to the Service, we collect:

  • Full name, email address, and username
  • Organization name
  • Password (stored as a one-way cryptographic hash — never in plaintext)
  • Profile preferences such as language and timezone
2.2 CRM Data You Enter

As part of using the Service, you and your team enter business data including lead and contact information (names, phone numbers, emails), interaction notes, follow-up schedules, and sales pipeline records. This data belongs to your organization.

2.3 Android App — Call Log Access

Our Android mobile application requests access to your device's call logs. This permission is used solely to automatically detect and log outbound calls made to leads in your CRM, saving you time by eliminating manual call logging. Specifically:

  • We read call log entries (number dialled, call duration, timestamp) only for numbers that match contacts already stored in your organization's CRM.
  • Call log data is transmitted securely to our servers and associated with the matching lead record.
  • We do not read, store, or transmit call logs for numbers that are not in your CRM.
  • We do not access call content or audio recordings for numbers that are not in your CRM.
  • You can revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings → Apps → Nüdge → Permissions.
2.4 Usage & Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service:

  • IP address and approximate geographic region
  • Browser type, operating system, and device type
  • Pages visited, features used, and timestamps
  • Error logs and crash reports

This data is used to maintain security, fix bugs, and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and protect your account
  • Sync call activity with your CRM lead records (Android app)
  • Send transactional emails (email verification, password resets, invitations)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

  • Within your organization: CRM data is shared with other users in the same organization account, subject to their role permissions.
  • Service providers: We use carefully selected third-party services (hosting, email delivery, error monitoring) that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the successor entity, and you will be notified.
5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the Service. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, unless retention is required by law. Organization CRM data can be exported before account closure upon request.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent (including Android call log permission) at any time
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@technovative.in.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and, where appropriate, sending you an email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
